Depending on how close you are to your next rank and how many kills and how long you hold a majority of the drop zones you can go up a rank in a single game. If you have a prestige token open you could also use double xp and go up two ranks in a single game and doing this for two hours you could average out about six ranks. Dropzone offers a lot of points to go out among the players and of course the better players will be at the top with the most points.

Still even the noobie players can find themselves moving up in points as they learn the game and the mode. Dropzone is a unique experience for any and all players and no two maps for dropzone are the same. If you get to know the red smoke location on each map you will be unstoppable as you can get to the next location before the enemy and start picking players off one at a time.

I have played many hours of dropzone and from that I have gone up a few ranks per game. The longer you hold the zone without getting killed the better. If you get care packages and utilize them the proper way you will end up with even more points. Century guns, remote turrants, IMS can all come in handy around the drop zone adding safety and protection to you and your team.

You also have to remember that knowing the maps and getting the hang of what to do and where to place items is going to greatly improve your chances of getting a lot of points.
